Hello, young Padawan
Today, we will enjoy an excellent infused water that will refresh and bring a nice dose of originality. Rosemary, whose summer virtues we have discussed here, is a precious plant as its flavor is up to its benefits.
It balances the sweet notes of summer fruits like apricots while bringing elegance and its sublime green, powerful, and resinous notes.
Apricot rosemary infused water
1 large ripe apricot
3 sprigs of rosemary
2 liters (or 68 fl oz) of filtered water
Optional : a few ice cubes.
Recipe
Wash the apricots and rosemary in clean water. Using a cutting board and a sharp knife, split the apricot in half to remove the stone, then cut it into thin slices.
Pour the apricot pieces and the rosemary sprigs, previously cut into 3 or 4, into a large carafe, then add the filtered water. Stir and leave to infuse in the refrigerator overnight – at least 6 hours.
Presentation
Using a fine tea strainer, a fine strainer, or a coffee filter, pour your infused water into your prettiest glasses or water bottle for the office. Add a few ice cubes for an “aperitif” effect.
Keep refrigerated for 24 hours.
Here is a lovely recipe done in one minute flat to help you maintain optimal hydration. Apricot and rosemary combine wonderfully and bring a very sweet, botanical flavor.
