Hello, young Padawan
Whether you are happy on vacation, back, or still at work, if there is a fruit that makes you think of vacation, it is pineapple. Festive, sweet, with a little vanilla taste for the Victoria one, and yellow like the sun, my goodness, it is a must-have for summer cocktails, desserts, and salads.
Well, it will be our best friend of the day: infused water with finesse, slightly sweetened, and refreshing as desired.
Let’s go.
Pineapple lemon infused water
For 70 oz of infusion.
1/4 ripe Victoria pineapple
1/2 organic lemon
70 oz of filtered water, or slightly mineralized water such as Volvic.
4 pinches of vanilla powder from Madagascar
Recipe
Pour the pineapple, previously peeled and cut into small cubes, into a large carafe. Add the half lemon cut into thin slices and the pinches of vanilla powder.
Add the water, cover the carafe to seal in the flavors, and let it infuse for at least six hours, preferably overnight.
Presentation
Using a fine tea strainer, a fine strainer, or a coffee filter, pour your infused water into your prettiest glasses or water bottle for the office. Add a few ice cubes for an “aperitif” effect.
Keep refrigerated for 24 hours.
Have a great weekend, and see you next week for new adventures.
